Compulsory Tipping
Kilimanjaro: Tanzania culture follows a compulsory tradition of receiving a tip on every Kilimanjaro climb. We believe in fair wage for our staff and follow the industry standard for climber tips in reward for hard work. A recommended tip is a minimum of $150 USD per climber, but you will likely want to tip more after your climb after experiencing the staff's incredible support. On the final day, tips can be given to your lead guide who will distribute the cash accordingly among the whole staff on your climb.
Safari: You will be guided by extremely knowledgable and dedicated staff members on your excursion. Just like Kilimanjaro, a compulsory tip is tradition within the culture to receive a reward for a job well done. Tipping is recommended at about $20 USD for the driver, and $15 USD for the chef per day, payable at the end of the safari.
